Jim Walsh
SVP Engineering | InfluxData
Jim is a transformative and entrepreneurial engineering executive. For more than 30 years, he has developed innovative software solutions and built world-class engineering teams for large technology companies and startups alike, focusing on growth, profitability and competitiveness. Before InfluxData, he was SVP of Infrastructure Engineering at Salesforce and previously served in leadership roles at Microsoft and Versive. Jim holds 30 patents in areas spanning his deep technical expertise in machine learning, storage, security and large-scale distributed systems. He has a degree in computer science from the University of Alberta.
