Scott Anderson
Scott Anderson is a Technical Writer for InfluxData who thrives on distilling complex information into simple, easy-to-understand concepts. He oversees the documentation of the Flux language and loves the challenge of showing how Flux can work for your use case. Scott’s formal education is in graphic design, but he is a self-taught coder and applies skills and principles learned in both worlds to many different disciplines including programming and software development, information design, marketing, and even package design.

Brett Buddin
Brett Buddin is a software engineer who specializes in distributed systems. As part of the Compute Team, he focuses on improving the Query and Task infrastructure in the Cloud 2 Platform. Brett spends his free time field recording, making music with modular synthesizers, and building music-related software.

Gavin Cabbage
Gavin is an experienced engineer with a focus on distributed systems built with technologies like Go and Kubernetes. He has spent the last two years developing InfluxData’s Cloud 2 platform with a recent focus on queries and tasks. Outside of tech, he enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with his poodle Mausbär.

Ana-Maria Calin
Ana is a Senior Software Engineer at InfluxData. As a Software Engineer, Ana deploys and maintains all of the application components that make up InfluxDB Cloud as well as working on the CI/CD pipeline, responding to incidents and making sure all of the different regions supported by InfluxDB are operating as expected. Previously, Ana has worked as a Systems Engineer at Paybase, where she built the infrastructure of the company’s service-oriented platform, created, updated and maintained monitoring and logging systems and incident response management systems.

Stuart Carnie
Stuart has been an engineer at InfluxData for about 4 ½ years. He has worked on OSS 1.x, 2.x, Enterprise and Cloud 2.0. Most recently Stuart has been improving InfluxQL support for Cloud 2.0. When not at work, Stuart enjoys retro gaming (he released the first Commodore 64 emulator for iOS in 2007), gardening, watching his daughter play soccer and movies.

Jay Clifford is a Developer Advocate for InfluxData. Before joining InfluxData, he previously specialized in solving industrial pain points using Vision AI and OT connectivity. Outside of tech, he enjoys: wakeboarding, swimming and gaming.

Samantha Wang
Samantha Wang is currently a Product Manager at InfluxData. She is currently responsible for the open source products at InfluxData including InfluxDB OSS 2.0 and Telegraf. Previous to InfluxData, she worked in product and engineering roles at Gracenote (a Nielsen Company) and Verizon. Samantha holds a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California (Fight on!).
